The opportunity

This exciting new volunteer opportunity has been created for 16 to 25 year olds in the North Somerset area. Working with the local vinvolved team, you would have the chance to really influence and make a difference through volunteering in your local area. This new Youth Action Team will organise events, run volunteering celebrations, seek fundraising opportunities and help with administration tasks. You will attend steering group meetings and any important diary dates like launches, celebrations and showcasing events. YAT team members will help us make sure that vinvolved is inspiring, dynamic and creative.
This is a new opportunity and we are keen to see YAT members develop their own roles which reflect their passions, skills and interests.
We expect this role to take about 3 hours a week and we will be flexible to meet individual needs. This is new, interesting and fun!

The organisation

Changemakers is an independent charity and social enterprise which enables young people aged 4-25 to make a positive and continuing contribution to society.

Skills/Qualifications

An interest in, and experience of volunteering and a strong desire to influence volunteering opportunities for 16 to 25 year olds in North Somerset. No qualifications are required, you will need to complete a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) form.
